Chiller Technician

Overview

Starwings Trading & Contracting WLL is hiring a capable Chiller Technician to support its HVAC operations in Doha, Qatar. The role calls for hands-on experience with chiller systems and a strong focus on reliable performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What you will do

• Fit, examine, service, and restore both air-cooled and water-cooled chiller units.
• Carry out planned maintenance as well as fault-based repairs on chillers and related HVAC equipment.
• Identify and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and control components.
• Look after chilled water circuits, pumps, valves, cooling towers, AHUs, and FCUs.
• Use technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals to guide your work.
• Complete tasks according to company safety practices and required quality standards.
• Record service activities and share maintenance updates with supervisors.
• Attend urgent breakdown calls when needed.

Requirements

• A Diploma, ITI, or an equivalent technical credential is needed.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Chiller Technician is required.
• Strong practical knowledge of air-cooled and water-cooled chiller systems is expected.
• Hands-on exposure to compressors, pumps, motors, valves, and control systems is necessary.
• You should be comfortable reading technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Good troubleshooting ability and clear communication skills are important.
• Candidates must already be available locally in Qatar.
• A valid Qatar ID and transferable visa are mandatory.
• Immediate joining is preferred.
