About the company
Wolt builds technology that helps people and neighbourhoods enjoy greater convenience while also creating earning opportunities. The company began in 2014 with restaurant food delivery and has since expanded into delivering almost everything, now operating in more than 500 cities across 30 countries. In 2022, Wolt joined forces with DoorDash and continues to grow internationally.
Life at Wolt is fast-moving and demanding, but also engaging. Team members are expected to take ownership, learn quickly, and ship meaningful work. This opportunity is a strong fit for someone who is self-driven, entrepreneurial, and energised by building in a dynamic environment.
The Real Estate and Facilities team supports the spaces and resources that employees rely on across all markets, working closely with People, Finance, and Operations to keep the business running smoothly.
Role overview
Wolt is hiring a Car Fleet Program Manager to establish its vehicle fleet function from the ground up. The company currently manages several hundred company cars across roughly a dozen countries and needs someone to design the policies, governance, and daily operating model that will make the programme effective.
This is a true greenfield role. You will create the framework for the fleet programme, define the rules that govern it, and build the processes needed to run it reliably. It is best suited to someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex situations and building systems from the start.
Key responsibilities
- Design the global car fleet policy from the ground up, including allocation rules, vehicle classifications, eligibility decisions, procurement approach, cost responsibility, and compliance requirements across more than 10 countries.
- Manage the full operational fleet lifecycle, from vehicle handover and driving licence validation to maintenance monitoring, damage handling, leaver offboarding, and lease accounting.
- Partner with teams across People, Finance, Benefits, Legal, and Operations so fleet processes align smoothly with employee lifecycle activities.
- Assess fleet tools and automation options to improve scalability and make the programme more efficient.
- Monitor fleet spend, usage, and compliance across markets, then use the data to recommend improvements and right-sizing over time.
Candidate profile
- You bring several years of experience in fleet management, mobility, or a related operations or facilities role, ideally with exposure to programme or policy creation across multiple countries.
- You understand lease accounting and are comfortable working where fleet management overlaps with payroll and employee benefits, including gross-up calculations.
- You are confident managing stakeholders and can align HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders when introducing more formal structures into previously informal processes.
- You enjoy creating things from the beginning and are able to understand the underlying problem before deciding on the solution.
- You can communicate clearly in English and translate complex operational and compliance topics into policies people can easily follow.
What you can expect
This role offers the chance to build a function with real ownership and influence. The decisions made in the first year will help shape how Wolt manages its vehicle fleet across multiple countries for the long term.
You will be part of the Real Estate and Facilities team and work with colleagues across the business on a day-to-day basis, making your impact visible early.
Hiring process
Applications are reviewed continuously. The typical hiring process includes an introductory conversation with Talent Acquisition, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and relevant stakeholders. The team will share details of each stage during the process.
Diversity and inclusion
Wolt is committed to building and supporting an inclusive workplace and community. The company values diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and believes innovation thrives when everyone has the opportunity, support, and space to contribute.
