Business System Analyst - Azure Data Engineering, Data Analysis

Role overview

This position is for a senior business systems analyst based in Toronto, Ontario, working in a hybrid model with 2 days onsite each week. The work schedule is 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role is centered on cross-line-of-business initiatives, data standardization, and alignment among stakeholders, with exposure to Azure data engineering.

What you will do

• Lead business analysis efforts across multiple lines of business and help drive shared standards for data.
• Coordinate with business, EDMO, product, and technology groups to keep requirements and delivery aligned.
• Take ownership of complex system integrations and the onboarding of enterprise reference data.
• Collect, evaluate, and document business, data, and system requirements for reference data domains.
• Convert business needs into functional specifications, data mappings, and user stories.
• Assist with the full reference data onboarding process, including identifying, classifying, and registering data.
• Assess whether a data set meets the criteria for enterprise reference data, such as being shared, broadly impactful, and relevant across business lines.
