Role Summary
This position is for a driven Senior IMC (Inside Market Consultant) who will contribute to enterprise marketing and business development efforts. The role blends sales development, lead generation, appointment setting, and delegate acquisition. The selected candidate will connect with senior business and technology leaders, assess opportunities, arrange meetings for the sales team, and support registrations for premium CXO events. Since campaigns may be run for different global regions, flexibility to work shifts aligned to the relevant time zone is required, including APAC, Middle East, Europe, Australia, UK, or North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Research target enterprise organizations and identify the right decision-makers to approach.
- Create qualified B2B opportunities through outbound phone outreach, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and similar channels.
- Screen prospects according to campaign goals and client expectations.
- Keep the sales pipeline and CRM records updated and accurate.
- Arrange appointments between qualified prospects and the sales or business development team.
- Run outbound prospecting efforts and consistently follow up to improve meeting conversion rates.
- Manage calendars and help ensure meetings are executed smoothly.
- Reach out to senior leaders and confirm their participation in executive roundtables, conferences, webinars, and leadership forums.
- Engage with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT heads, digital leaders, and business executives.
- Maintain attendee quality so it matches sponsor and campaign objectives.
- Increase registrations and attendance for both in-person and virtual events.
- Develop long-term relationships with enterprise stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Stay in regular contact with prospects and existing connections.
- Understand each customer’s business priorities and technology initiatives.
- Build and maintain reliable enterprise databases.
- Record interactions, follow-ups, and meeting results in the CRM.
- Support data quality and reporting accuracy.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in one or more of these areas: SDR, lead generation, appointment setting, delegate acquisition, B2B inside sales, business development, or event delegate acquisition.
- Strong command of spoken and written English is mandatory.
- Comfort interacting with senior executives and other decision-makers.
- Good phone manners along with clear and confident communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in cold calling and consultative conversations.
- Ability to prospect effectively on LinkedIn and communicate professionally by email.
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently toward monthly targets.
- Good negotiation skills and disciplined follow-up habits.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
- Must be willing to work in shifts based on the campaign’s time zone.
- Graduate in any discipline.
Preferred Background
Experience in any of the following areas will be an added advantage: B2B technology media, SaaS, IT services, technology events, conference production, digital marketing agencies, executive engagement, or enterprise sales.
Performance Metrics
Success in this role will be measured through qualified leads generated, meetings scheduled, delegate registrations, event attendance conversion, lead-to-opportunity conversion, CRM accuracy, monthly revenue contribution, and client satisfaction.
