Analyst, Network Security Governance

About the role

Singtel is looking for an Analyst in Network Security Governance to support the creation, rollout, and upkeep of cybersecurity policy, governance, awareness, and risk management activities for its Singapore network environment. Policy and standards

• Assist the supervisor in drafting, communicating, and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines that meet internal and regulatory expectations.
• Help make cybersecurity requirements workable, actionable, and clearly understood by the relevant stakeholders.
• Include all applicable regulated requirements, including the IMDA Telecommunication Cybersecurity Code of Practice (TCS), within Networks’ cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Work with multiple Singtel Singapore teams to support consistent application of cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines across network systems and environments.
• Take part in regular reviews and updates so policies and standards stay aligned with new threats, technologies, and compliance needs.

Cybersecurity awareness

• Support the supervisor in planning, building, and delivering a Cybersecurity Awareness Program for Networks.
• Help ensure awareness activities reach employees and managers with messages that are relevant, easy to understand, and effective in strengthening security culture.
• Support Business Units in understanding their responsibilities for meeting organisational and regulatory cybersecurity obligations.
• Review awareness efforts over time and improve them based on feedback, emerging risks, and changing compliance requirements.

Governance and risk management

• Partner with Singtel Singapore teams to balance service performance and operational flexibility with the need to manage cybersecurity risk.
• Encourage compliance with governance frameworks and ensure security considerations are factored into operational and business decisions.
• Engage internal stakeholders professionally and proactively to build trust and support shared security and business outcomes.
• Help strengthen governance practices so they continue to match company goals and regulatory changes.
• Assist in maintaining an effective cybersecurity risk management process for all in-scope systems within Singtel’s risk framework.
• Provide administrative and coordination support for risk management execution, recording, and tracking.
• Ensure risks identified through threat modelling and other assessments are properly assessed, documented, and handled through formal treatment and mitigation steps.
• Support ongoing improvements to the risk process by identifying gaps, suggesting enhancements, and helping implement better practices.

Continuous improvement

• Look for opportunities to improve work through process optimisation and automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Keep all technical and job-related documentation accurate, complete, and current.
• Create or improve documentation where needed to support knowledge transfer, consistency, and compliance.
• Contribute ideas and lessons learned to support a culture of continuous improvement.
