Alignment Technician

Role Overview

As an Alignment Technician with Belle Tire, you’ll help keep customers on the road by carrying out skilled automotive repair and maintenance work in a busy, safety-focused team environment. This role is best suited to someone who enjoys working on vehicles and is committed to delivering a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out wheel alignments, steering and suspension repairs, oil changes, and other standard service tasks.
• Make sure every job is completed to Belle Tire’s quality and safety expectations.
• Provide strong customer service by aiming to go beyond customer expectations for both workmanship and experience.
• Keep the work area tidy, organized, and safe at all times.
• Take on additional duties as directed by management.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and have at least 1 year of experience in vehicle alignment work. A State of Michigan Mechanic Certification is required only for Michigan-based work. A customer-first approach is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with ASE certifications.

Physical Requirements

This job requires the ability to remain on your feet for long periods, bend as needed, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment

The position is located in a tire and automotive service retail store. Work schedules can vary from Monday through Saturday. The environment is fast-moving and physically demanding, with extended standing and regular heavy lifting.

Compensation

The annual pay range for this role is $50,000 to $65,000.
