In this Air Operations and Systems Expert position, you will help oversee and support one of the nation’s largest and most complex operations. Your speed, precision, and strategic judgement will contribute to ensuring that the response to airborne threats is rapid and decisive. This appointment falls under the Military Domain Experts Scheme (MDES).

What you will do

You will support Air Warfare Officers in C3 units by contributing to the safe and effective execution of air operations. The role is focused on Information Knowledge-based Command and Control (IKC2), where you will apply specialist operational and technology-related capabilities to strengthen mission delivery.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a relevant diploma, NITEC, or Higher NITEC. For the Senior AOSX track, a degree in Computing, IT, Engineering, Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.

Other requirements

Medical and visual standards apply. Candidates should have eyesight below 800 degrees per eye and astigmatism below 300 degrees per eye.
