Overview
West London NHS Trust is hiring for an Operational Support and Systems Administrator to join the MSK Physiotherapy service in Hounslow. This role sits within a fast-paced clinical environment and supports the efficient running of administrative operations for the borough-based MSK team. The MSK Physiotherapy Service in Hounslow is focused on helping patients control pain, improve their condition, reduce the chance of re-injury, and support overall health and wellbeing.
Role Summary
The Operational Support and Systems Administrator will oversee the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the borough-based MSK administrative team. The postholder will work alongside specialist administration colleagues to manage the full administrative function for Hounslow MSK services, including flexible workforce deployment so that priorities are met within required timescales.
This position will also provide deputising cover for the Administration Manager and carry responsibility for supervisory staff management as well as key electronic systems, including S1 booking, ERS, and Health rosters.
Working closely with business and clinical teams, service managers, and frontline staff, the role supports the effective delivery, management, and improvement of business systems that underpin high-quality clinical care.
The postholder will coordinate a full administrative support service for clinical teams and maintain an efficient referral, appointment, and visiting management process through the electronic patient database. The role also helps ensure excellent customer service across interactions with patients, carers, primary care, secondary care, community care, social care, and voluntary organisations.
