About the internship

Adben Industries Private Limited is offering a remote business development internship focused on sales outreach for its hardware and firmware design services. The company is a Kolkata-based home automation startup founded in 2018, known for manufacturing advanced sonar-based automatic and GSM pump controllers, along with providing custom embedded systems and hardware design support to Indian and international clients.

What you'll do

• Identify target sectors and companies that could benefit from hardware or firmware design solutions.
• Maintain a well-organized lead tracker covering company details, contacts, industry, project need, and lead status.
• Connect with prospects through LinkedIn, email, and phone using clear, professional communication.
• Coordinate discovery conversations and meetings between interested prospects and the Adben team.
• Monitor outreach efforts and share weekly updates on pipeline movement and progress.
• Help prepare outreach emails, capability presentations, and follow-up messages.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, are able to begin between 24 June 2026 and 29 July 2026, and can commit to a 6-month internship. Applicants should also have relevant skills and a genuine interest in sales and business development.

Other requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently finished B.Tech/B.E./BSc in CS, IT, ECE, or EE.
• Should be able to understand a product brief or datasheet and infer what the client is trying to build.
• Comfortable making cold calls and writing professional English emails.
• Well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of working with little supervision.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and basic spreadsheet tools.
• Previous experience in sales or outreach is an added advantage.

Compensation

The internship offers a monthly stipend in the range of INR 7,000 to 18,000. The payout is structured as fixed pay of INR 5,000 to 8,000 per month plus an incentive component of INR 2,000 to 10,000 per month.
