About the internship
This opportunity is with an independent digital marketing consultant in Bangalore who works with businesses across different sectors on end-to-end online growth projects. The work spans WordPress website creation, visual design, SEO, branding, content, and social media, with a strong focus on practical execution and measurable outcomes.
What you will do
- Build and maintain WordPress websites for a variety of client projects.
- Create tailored page layouts and site designs based on specific client needs instead of depending only on ready-made templates.
- Adjust themes, plugins, and core site functions so each website feels distinct and easy to use.
- Develop responsive pages that work well on desktops, tablets, and mobile screens.
- Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress to add features and improve existing functionality.
- Work with tools such as Elementor, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and WooCommerce whenever project requirements call for them.
- Keep website content, images, pages, blogs, and other CMS-managed elements updated.
- Improve site speed, performance, Core Web Vitals, user experience, and visibility in search results.
- Support SEO implementation through on-page optimization and better site structure.
- Test websites thoroughly, fix bugs, and perform quality checks before launch.
- Handle troubleshooting, maintenance, backups, migration support, security updates, and general site upkeep.
- Coordinate with design and digital marketing teams to deliver websites aligned with client objectives.
- Stay updated on modern WordPress practices, current web design trends, and industry standards.
Eligibility
This internship is open only to candidates who can commit to a full-time, in-office role in Bangalore, can begin between 25 June 2026 and 30 July 2026, and are available for a 6-month duration. Applicants must be based in Bangalore and should have relevant skills and interest in WordPress development. Women looking to start or restart their careers may also apply.
