Web Developer

Role overview

This is a remote web development contract focused on building polished, responsive web experiences and supporting end-to-end product delivery. The engagement is hourly, with compensation ranging from $20 to $70 per hour. Weekly availability is expected to fall between 10 and 40 hours.

What you'll do

• Create and update web applications that are responsive, intuitive, and aligned with user needs.
• Connect frontend components with backend APIs and handle data flow between the two layers.
• Work alongside design professionals to shape smooth and consistent user journeys.
• Investigate issues, fix defects, and improve application speed, stability, and scalability.
• Produce code that is clean, easy to maintain, and properly documented according to best practices.
• Take part in planning discussions and help evaluate technical approaches for upcoming work.
• Keep communication clear and timely with teammates and other stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Hands-on expertise with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Practical experience consuming and integrating backend APIs.
• Good grasp of responsive design and compatibility across browsers.
• Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
• Comfort working autonomously in a remote setup.
• Experience using digital collaboration tools while working with distributed teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.
