About the role
As a UI Designer, you will shape the look and feel of digital products tied to the company’s environmental mission. From the start, you will contribute directly to product direction and user engagement by working with product managers, marketing specialists, and other teammates. Your work will center on creating clear, attractive, and user-friendly interfaces that strengthen the brand and make sustainability-focused solutions easier to use.
This position also gives you room to contribute creatively through visual assets such as icons, illustrations, and interactive prototypes. You will take part in user research, convert insights into design concepts, and look for ongoing improvements that make the products more effective and intuitive.
Qualifications
The company is looking for someone with a strong foundation in UI and interaction design, plus a track record of building engaging, user-centered digital experiences. A portfolio is expected to show quality visual work, including icons and illustrations that follow brand standards. You should also understand user-centered design methods and be comfortable turning complex ideas into simple, easy-to-use interfaces.
Success in this role calls for motivation, independence, and a proactive mindset. Strong communication in both German and English is required to work well with internal teams and stakeholders. A results-driven approach and an interest in sustainability and technology will be highly valued.
Responsibilities

- Work side by side with product and marketing teams to build smooth, intuitive interfaces.
- Create polished visual assets such as icons, illustrations, and interactive prototypes that fit the brand identity.
- Apply user-centered design practices while keeping usability and accessibility at the forefront of the design process.
- Independently spot opportunities to refine designs and keep improving the usability and appeal of digital products.
- Make sure all design decisions support company goals, user feedback, and established industry standards.
