Role overview
Micron Technology is hiring a TSE Technician to support Test Solutions Engineering work for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) products at wafer probe. This role focuses on hands-on execution across operational, data, and system tasks that help drive probe evaluations, production release readiness, and yield/debug efforts. You will work alongside TSE engineers through NPI and high-volume manufacturing phases, where speed, accuracy, and disciplined follow-through matter.
The organization is built around innovation, integrity, sustainability, and community contribution, with a mission to improve how information is used to enrich life worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out HBM probe support tasks assigned by TSE engineers, including lot evaluation, production assignment, tracking, and coordination.
- Manage lot handling activities, monitor status, and follow through on execution steps.
- Set up attribute tags and travelers, and support hold and release actions.
- Assist with experiments and investigations tied to yield gains, test-time reduction, and probe or test-related defects.
- Mine data and prepare reports with basic analysis to support debug work, root-cause studies, NPI learning, ramp readiness, and production release reviews.
- Maintain execution metrics such as lot turnaround time, completion status for evaluations and experiments, and hold/release aging.
- Build regular metric summaries and dashboards using standard or automated reporting tools for daily reviews and engineering discussions.
- Check that data remains accurate, consistent, and traceable across the systems used for TSE probe support, and highlight anomalies or gaps for engineering attention.
- Help feed experiment outcomes back into probe programs under engineer direction.
- Work with cross-functional partners such as Process, Yield, Manufacturing, PI/YE, and ME teams to keep HBM probe activities running smoothly.
Requirements
- Ability to support fast-paced technical execution with strong attention to detail and disciplined tracking.
- Comfort working with data, reports, dashboards, and basic analysis for engineering support.
- Capability to coordinate across multiple teams and follow operational workflows accurately.
- Understanding of production tracking, metrics monitoring, and issue escalation in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Willingness to support NPI and high-volume manufacturing activities in a wafer probe setting.
