Steward

Role overview

The steward will support core hotel operations by keeping food and beverage, kitchen, and laundry areas clean, organized, and service-ready. This role is part of the utility and cleanliness function within a luxury hospitality setting in Saudi Arabia.

What you will do

• Assist across departments such as the kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry units as needed.
• Clean and prepare linen, tableware, and other guest-use items to the required standard.
• Operate and look after cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines and laundry equipment.
• Move dishware, linens, and similar items between work areas and around the property.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment while following company procedures.
• Work professionally with teammates and other departments to help the wider team meet shared goals.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the supervisor or manager right away.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Work standards and physical requirements

This position requires consistent attention to cleanliness, quality, safety, and professional conduct. The job also involves lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds without help, being on your feet for long periods, and performing physical movements such as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Preferred qualifications

No high school diploma or G.E.D. is required. The role does not call for prior related work experience, supervisory experience, or any license or certification.
