Sr. Computer Operator - Saudi Aramco - SMP

Role Overview

ABIS is hiring a Senior Computer Operator for its SMP team that supports Saudi Aramco-related projects in Dhahran, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will keep core computer systems and networks running smoothly by monitoring performance, handling scheduled jobs, supporting backups, and responding quickly to technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and health of computer systems and network environments.
• Coordinate and manage scheduled jobs, batch processes, and backup routines.
• Identify, investigate, and fix system faults and service disruptions in a timely manner.
• Apply security controls and operating procedures to safeguard data and system integrity.
• Work with IT support personnel on upgrades, maintenance windows, and related activities.
• Keep clear records of operational steps, incidents, and resolutions.
• Follow internal policies and comply with applicable industry standards.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Information and Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity is required.
• Recent graduates with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply, with a GPA of 3/4 or 4/5.
• Prior exposure to cybersecurity work is expected.
• You should bring sound technical ability, relevant practical exposure, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills are important.
• Knowledge of the Saudi Aramco operating environment will be considered an added advantage.
