Speaker Relations (Government and Tech)

Role overview

This position focuses on winning and managing speakers for events. It is a relationship-led role for someone who can already reach decision-makers at leading technology companies and government organizations, or quickly develop those connections. The goal is to turn those relationships into confirmed speakers who are ready to appear on stage.

What you will handle

• Find, approach, and secure speakers from major global technology companies such as Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft, Meta, and similar organizations for events held across India.
• Develop and maintain connections with senior leaders, founders, and executives in the AI and Web3 space.
• Work with government departments and ministry representatives to secure relevant speaking opportunities and panel participation for city-based events.
• Oversee the complete speaker journey, including outreach, negotiation, confirmation, coordination of logistics, and on-site support.
• Customize outreach messages and pitch decks based on each speaker’s background, interests, and event value proposition.
• Collaborate with the events and content teams to place confirmed speakers into the most appropriate sessions, panels, and locations.
• Keep an up-to-date tracker of all conversations, follow-ups, and current speaker status.

Candidate profile

The ideal person already has a track record of closing speakers from top-tier tech companies for conferences, summits, or similar industry events. This requirement is essential. You should also have established warm relationships with contacts at companies like Google, Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, Meta, or comparable firms, rather than relying only on outbound prospecting. Prior exposure to government bodies or experience coordinating with them will be a strong advantage. A solid understanding of the AI and Web3 ecosystem is important, along with strong communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders. The role also demands strong organization, since you may need to manage 50+ active speaker conversations at the same time across multiple cities.
