About the Role
ReversingLabs builds software supply chain security and threat intelligence products that help raise cybersecurity maturity worldwide. The company is focused on expanding adoption and accelerating growth by bringing in strong talent across the security sector.
Following major incidents such as SolarWinds, CircleCI, and 3CX, software supply chain security has become a priority for organizations that create or buy software. ReversingLabs positions its platform as a way to deliver the package analysis speed and threat intelligence needed to reduce this risk.
The mission is to give every organization end-to-end visibility so teams can release software safely, purchase technology with confidence, and help security operations centers detect, isolate, and respond effectively.
This role plays a central part in the success of the Spectra Assure platform for software assurance. It offers the chance to contribute to an ambitious product being built in an engineering-led environment where many components are created from the ground up.
The team values developer experience and expects well-structured, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code within the Research organization. You will help build a scalable and resilient SaaS platform, shape architectural decisions, and own major parts of the new product. The ideal person can work autonomously, collaborate well, and apply clean-code practices that support long-term maintainability. Candidates who are strong developers with frontend technology experience, even if they do not define themselves strictly as frontend engineers, are especially well suited.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve a scalable, resilient SaaS platform with smooth interaction between frontend and backend layers.
- Contribute to architecture choices by sharing practical recommendations grounded in technical experience and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and refine efficient, reusable, and dependable code in TypeScript and Python.
- Keep current with modern engineering practices, new technologies, and contemporary design approaches.
- Convert UX designs into polished, intuitive user interfaces.
- Investigate, document, and fix technical problems to keep the platform stable and reliable.
- Manage and carry out production deployments for enterprise applications.
- Work closely with product teams, understand product capabilities, and help improve them continuously.
- Take end-to-end technical ownership of complex features with an emphasis on scalability and maintainability.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, along with solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and the React framework.
- Good command of Python or another object-oriented language.
- Experience establishing and supporting frontend and backend tooling for builds and testing.
- Proven background working in a large codebase and making decisions that support long-term maintainability.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience designing and implementing complex workflows.
- Experience with Docker and related container technologies.
- Familiarity with Redux Toolkit, Material-UI, Webpack, and Storybook is a strong advantage.
