About the role
This position supports Group Functions IT by improving the availability and responsiveness of assistance for end users and key business stakeholders across the organization. The focus is on keeping essential global financial applications running smoothly, especially Treasury and Financial Close/Consolidation systems, along with Microsoft workplace tools and other business-critical platforms. The role is designed to strengthen service coverage for VIP users and high-impact teams while helping maintain reliable operations.
Key responsibilities
- Act in line with the organization’s values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Deliver prompt, high-quality support for important Group Functions applications, with special attention to VIP users and critical stakeholders.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents and service requests related to global financial systems, including Treasury and Financial Close/Consolidation tools.
- Record, classify, and prioritize tickets in the ITSM platform such as ServiceNow so urgent issues receive quick attention.
- Apply standard fixes and guide users through configuration and access-related tasks using runbooks.
- Communicate clearly with end users and leadership stakeholders, especially when issues affect essential business processes.
- Keep knowledge articles, how-to resources, and user guides updated, particularly for financial application scenarios.
- Manage user roles and access permissions with a strong focus on security, compliance, and data accuracy.
- Coordinate application changes such as patches and releases for financial systems and end-user tools while limiting disruption to operations.
- Support user acceptance testing for major changes affecting Treasury and Financial Consolidation platforms.
- Provide training, functional support, and documentation for end users and support teams.
- Handle other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Background in supporting business-critical SaaS applications and cloud-based financial systems.
- Exposure to one or more of Treasury, Financial Close, Financial Consolidation, or ERP platforms.
- Experience using Power BI to create dashboards, visual reports, and business insights.
- Strong troubleshooting ability across integrations, data flows, and application modules.
- Comfort handling sensitive, high-priority incidents with professionalism and precision.
- Ability to work with internal teams and external vendors to keep critical systems stable and continuously improving.
- Organized, service-oriented, and able to manage several priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft end-user tools.
- Advanced Excel capability, including formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and automation.
- Experience participating in user acceptance testing before deployment.
- With or without reasonable accommodation, must be able to perform the essential duties of the role.
- Regular computer use is required.
- May occasionally need to reach, lift small objects, and use office equipment.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking may be involved.
- Travel may be required.
