About the Role
Emmington is hiring a Recruitment Assistant to help support internal hiring across several international markets. This position suits someone who is organised, takes initiative, and has 1 to 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
You will contribute to candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, pipeline management, and delivering a smooth experience for applicants from the first interaction through onboarding. This is a remote role and requires working UK hours.
Work Location and Schedule
This is a remote position open to candidates based in South Africa or the Philippines. The schedule follows UK business hours.
Responsibilities
- Find suitable candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other online channels.
- Review CVs and narrow down applicants based on the requirements of each role.
- Carry out initial screening conversations to evaluate fit and suitability.
- Arrange interviews between shortlisted candidates and hiring managers.
- Update and manage the applicant tracking system accurately.
- Create and post job advertisements, then improve listings for stronger performance.
- Monitor hiring metrics and track the progress of recruitment pipelines.
- Keep communication with candidates professional, clear, and consistent throughout the process.
- Support offer documentation, employment contracts, and onboarding coordination.
- Develop and maintain talent pools for future hiring requirements.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR-related support.
- Hands-on experience sourcing through LinkedIn and job boards.
- Strong planning, organisation, and time-management abilities.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to work UK hours.
- Capability to handle several roles and competing priorities at once.
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and administrative capability.
- Self-driven, proactive, and focused on results.
- Prior remote work experience is an advantage.
