Key responsibilities

  • Carry out two monthly audits for each assigned offline store.
  • Address customer grievances and complete root-cause analysis along with corrective and preventive actions using the prescribed process.
  • Take part in training initiatives that support personal development and strengthen team capability.
  • Support FSSAI and FSSC audit activities.
  • Make sure food safety practices and legal compliance requirements are consistently followed.
  • Work with the operations team to spot process gaps and drive corrective measures.
  • Contribute to food-safety awareness and culture-building initiatives.
  • Inspect and verify cleaning and sanitization activities across distribution centers.
  • Keep accurate documentation and records of all daily quality work, including GAP entries.
  • Check and monitor Integrated Pest Management programs.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in the meat and seafood sector is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Hands-on background in quality inspection of food products.
  • Good understanding of food safety management systems and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, along with solid organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Capable of working on your own with limited supervision.
  • Self-driven, with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and certification frameworks such as FSSAI, HACCP, and FSSC.
  • Willingness to travel within the city and to other cities as needed for audits, assessments, or training.
