Job Summary
This role is for a seasoned, highly organized Project Manager to steer the full lifecycle of strategic technology and cybersecurity initiatives. The position focuses on delivering projects from planning through closure while keeping scope, timeline, budget, quality, and regulatory obligations under control.
The successful candidate will own end-to-end project governance, monitor execution, coordinate stakeholders, manage risks and communications, oversee deployment and handover activities, and ensure the work meets cybersecurity, regulatory, and organizational standards.
Project Planning and Governance
- Direct projects from initiation through deployment, handover, and formal closure.
- Create and maintain governance structures, project charters, project plans, and delivery methods.
- Set up schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Make sure the shift from kickoff to go-live happens within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain control plans and scheduling plans that cover planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, quality assurance, handover, and operational readiness.
- Handle work breakdown structures, baseline plans, resource assignments, and reporting.
Schedule and Progress Management
- Prepare and update preliminary, milestone, and detailed project schedules.
- Measure progress against baselines and key milestones.
- Watch project performance closely and respond early to delays, risks, and deviations.
- Provide regular progress updates and executive-level reporting.
Stakeholder and Communication Management
- Create and run a communication plan for the project.
- Coordinate information flow among internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and organize kickoff meetings, weekly status meetings, technical workshops, handover meetings, lessons learned sessions, close-out meetings, and executive steering committee meetings.
- Capture and share minutes, action items, owners, and deadlines.
- Support communication through meetings, calls, video meetings, and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
Risk, Issue, and Change Management
- Identify, evaluate, and control project risks and issues.
- Maintain risk registers, issue logs, and change request logs.
- Build mitigation and contingency plans.
- Escalate major risks and issues when needed.
Deployment and Implementation Management
- Manage phased rollouts across testing, pilot users or early adopters, business user validation, and enterprise-wide deployment.
- Ensure issues are resolved before moving to the next rollout stage.
- Coordinate implementation work with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Documentation and Deliverables Management
- Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of project documentation such as high-level design, low-level design, deployment plans, bill of materials, installation and configuration guides, as-configured documents, as-built documents, testing plans and scenarios, service introduction plans, transition-to-operations plans, operational readiness reports, and project closure reports.
- Ensure project documents are delivered in professional PowerPoint and PDF formats.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure execution follows National Cybersecurity Authority requirements, organizational security rules, technical standards, site-specific regulations, and industry best practices.
- Carry out quality reviews so deliverables meet the agreed standard.
- Confirm acceptance criteria are met before the project is closed.
Knowledge Transfer and Operational Readiness
- Lead readiness and acceptance activities for operations.
- Coordinate full knowledge transfer with operational teams.
- Ensure systems, documentation, and operating procedures are handed over successfully.
- Support stabilization and transition after deployment.
Team Leadership
- Define and maintain the project structure and team setup.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including consultants, engineers, architects, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure assigned resources have the right qualifications, certifications, and experience.
- Encourage collaboration and accountability across the project team.
Information Security and Confidentiality
- Protect all project-related information and keep it strictly confidential.
- Ensure secure handling, storage, transfer, and disposal of project data.
- Support compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, and information protection requirements.
Required Qualification
- A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required.
- Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or an equivalent project management qualification is required.
- At least 7 years of experience managing complex IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, or digital transformation projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and working with multiple stakeholders.
- Solid knowledge of project governance, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality management.
