Role overview

The Enterprise Delivery Team is hiring a Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of strategic, enterprise-level integration initiatives. In this role, you will report to the Program Manager and help ensure projects are delivered with strong service standards and disciplined project management practices.

The position involves working closely with project sponsors, executives, senior leaders, and other project managers to manage planning, delivery, reporting, and issue resolution across complex initiatives.

Key responsibilities

You will be expected to manage project plans and budgets, keep financial and resourcing records accurate, and ensure projects follow internal standards and policies. The role also includes supporting integration work across strategic and departmental projects, coordinating dependencies with other project managers, and keeping stakeholders informed on progress.

Additional duties include handling risks, resolving issues, escalating where needed, and delivering clear performance updates to the program manager, executives, sponsors, and other stakeholders. You will also oversee change management activities tied to scope, timelines, costs, and expectations.

Requirements

This position calls for a degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline, although equivalent practical experience may also be considered. A project management credential such as PRINCE2, PMI, or OPM3 is preferred.

Candidates should bring at least 7 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 recent years in project management within complex matrix organizations. Experience leading capital markets projects or regulatory compliance work is required, along with strong knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards.

Applicants should have a solid grasp of project management methodologies and life cycle practices, and be experienced in integrated systems development using agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery models. Knowledge of critical path analysis, planning, and remediation is also needed.

Other required capabilities include project accounting, budget planning, cost control, capital and expense approval processes, commercial contract and service agreement knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, prioritization, delegation, and administrative skills are essential. Experience in organizational transformation and comfort working through ambiguity and change are also necessary. English fluency is required, and French is considered an asset.

Salary

The expected pay range for this position is CAD 110,000 to 125,000 per year. Final compensation will depend on the candidate and the role requirements.
