Process Technician Serialisation

About the Role

PCI Pharma Services is hiring a permanent Process Technician Serialisation to join the team in Stamullen, County Meath. The position sits within the Engineering function for PCI’s Ireland sites and plays a key role in strengthening serialisation capability, improving performance, and supporting compliant operations.

The role is focused on making serialisation processes more efficient and reliable through accurate data handling, issue resolution, continuous improvement, and support for new implementations. It also involves helping build knowledge across the engineering team and working closely with internal stakeholders and vendors.

This position supports production by improving operational efficiency, handling data with accuracy, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, anticipating issues during new product introduction, and making sure serialisation activities remain aligned with regulatory expectations. What You Will Do

• Own one or more assigned serialisation processes and act as the site subject matter expert, while training and supporting others.
• Work with vendors to better understand the technology and help maintain and improve system performance.
• Contribute to or lead continuous improvement initiatives, including OEE-related projects, to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
• Maintain the technical drawing and serialisation equipment specification database, including filing, archiving, and controlling withdrawn or superseded drawings and related documents.
• Manage serialisation data, including master data attributes, and resolve data transfer issues.
• Support the development of internal serialisation workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste across different workstreams.
• Build engineering team knowledge and competence around current and changing serialisation technologies.
• Ensure serialisation activities comply with regulatory requirements and that data is maintained in line with compliance standards.
• Support validation work for serialisation systems and keep associated documentation current.
• Participate in risk assessments for new or modified equipment and for new processes.
• Work with operations leadership to review technical, product, and process issues and help resolve operational, performance, and functional challenges.
• Support the rollout of new serialisation systems and upgrades to existing systems.
• Carry out work in line with statutory, regulatory, EHS, cGMP, and internal technical standards, procedures, and systems.
• Help maintain a workplace culture that reflects PCI Pharma Services’ values and behaviours.
• Take on additional tasks or ad hoc projects as needed to support department and business priorities, within the scope of the role.

Scope and Authority

• Follow company SOPs as well as health and safety, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements, both personally and for any team members or contractors under your control.
• Where relevant, manage and track capital project budgets.
