About the Company
Hyne Group is a long-established timber business group operating across Australia and New Zealand, with more than 140 years of history. What started as a sawmill on the Mary River has developed into a leader in sustainable timber product manufacturing. Backed by a partnership with global timber processor James Jones & Sons, the group draws on a combined 320 years of family-owned sawmilling experience.
The group includes Hyne Timber, XLam, Rocky Point and Hyne Pallets, and supplies industries such as construction, garden care, horticulture and logistics. By combining innovation with sustainable practices, the business converts each log into high-quality products designed to serve a wide range of customer needs. This approach reflects a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.
