Role Overview

NIQ is looking for a Payroll Specialist to act as a reliable operational contact for assigned business units on all payroll-related matters. The payroll team functions as a modern centralized support group within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve payroll-related issues in a proactive, professional manner.
  • Coordinate end-to-end payroll processing together with the external payroll provider.
  • Respond to employee questions about pay, social insurance, working time, leave, maternity leave, parental leave, and similar topics.
  • Examine special payroll situations from tax and social security perspectives.
  • Work in close partnership with the Business Partners and Employee Experience team.
  • Handle the assigned payroll area independently and keep control of priorities even when deadlines are tight.
  • Demonstrate dependable, committed, and efficient work habits.
  • Contribute strong teamwork skills and a people-oriented approach.

Qualifications

  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Several years of hands-on payroll experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Strong organization, punctuality with deadlines, ability to work under pressure, confidence in communication, and adaptability.
  • Experience with Workday will be considered an added advantage.
