Passenger Service Agent (Part Time)

Menzies Aviation is seeking a part-time Passenger Service Agent to join their team at Tampa International Airport in Florida. This role involves managing passenger check-ins, verifying documentation, and ensuring a smooth travel experience for both domestic and international flights. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, and involves both indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and be proficient in English. The job offers a competitive hourly wage with opportunities for pay increases based on tenure and performance, along with paid training and a provided uniform.

Responsibilities

• Conduct computerized check-in for passengers on international and domestic flights.
• Assign appropriate seat assignments to passengers.
• Thoroughly verify all necessary documentation for both international and domestic travel.
• Ensure each passenger receives the correct boarding pass for their designated charter flight.
• Confirm ticket details and seat reservations.
• Reconcile the manifest with the actual number of passengers on board.
• Assist with various requirements from governmental agencies.
• Connect and disconnect Jetway or stairs as needed for aircraft access.
• Make necessary announcements regarding arrivals and departures.

What We Are Looking For

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and any other required FAA identification or seals.
• Fluency in English, including the ability to speak, read, and write.
• Must have availability and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, and able to perform duties in all weather conditions.
• Ability to consistently lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 70 lbs.
