About the role

Team Global Express is seeking a Parcel Driver in New Plymouth, Taranaki, to support parcel movements across homes and businesses. The role sits within a nationwide logistics network focused on dependable service, sustainable operations, and strong customer trust.

The roster for this position is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.

What you’ll do

• Deliver and collect freight accurately, on time, and in full.
• Load and unload parcels and other freight safely.
• Plan practical routes to complete deliveries efficiently.
• Provide helpful and professional customer service at every stop.
• Keep delivery records up to date and maintain vehicle standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and actively contribute to safe work practices.
• Handle freight carefully to avoid damage.
• Scan every item you handle and ensure all freight is scanned correctly.

What you’ll need

Applicants should know the local region well, be ready to work hard, and bring a customer-first approach to the job.

• A clean full New Zealand Class 1 driver licence is essential.
• A Dangerous Goods licence is preferred.
• Forklift safety certification and OSH forklift credentials are advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills.
• A team-oriented attitude.
• A genuine focus on customer service.
