Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to support mechanical construction activities on site in Saudi Arabia. The role suits someone with solid hands-on project execution experience, strong coordination ability, and readiness to join immediately.
Experience and Availability
The position calls for 3 to 5 years of experience overall, with the profile specifically suited to candidates who have 4 to 5 years of relevant work in mechanical construction projects. Applicants must already be in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and available for immediate onboarding.
Key Duties
You will oversee mechanical installation work at the project location and ensure that every activity follows the approved drawings, technical specifications, and planned schedule. The role involves working closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering teams to keep execution aligned.
You will also carry out site checks to verify quality, safety, and standards compliance, track progress on a daily and weekly basis, and prepare status updates and reports. In addition, you will troubleshoot technical issues, provide engineering input during delivery, review submittals such as materials, shop drawings, and method statements, and support testing, commissioning, and final system handover.
Required Background
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Site Engineer, with practical exposure to HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Strong communication and coordination skills are important, along with the ability to work on site in Saudi Arabia without delay.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is expected. Familiarity with Primavera or other similar project planning tools will be considered an added advantage. A valid transferable Iqama is preferred.
