Role Overview

Reporting to the VP Talent, the Manager, People Systems & Data Analytics will own the administration, enhancement, and ongoing improvement of People systems while promoting evidence-based talent and workforce decisions. The position safeguards the reliability, security, and performance of HR technology across multiple countries and turns People data into usable insights that inform strategy. In close collaboration with country teams and leadership, the role will support digital transformation, workforce analytics, and process improvement to build a scalable and high-performing People function.

Key Responsibilities

People Systems and Technology

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration, tuning, and continuous improvement of People platforms such as HRIS, ATS, performance management, and learning systems.
  • Work with IT and vendors to roll out enhancements, integrations, and new digital tools.
  • Make sure systems remain secure, easy to use, and able to support growth across all countries.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Create and maintain leadership dashboards, workforce indicators, and People reports.
  • Examine workforce patterns and turn the findings into recommendations for recruitment, performance, retention, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Prepare accurate reporting for leadership, the Board, and donor requirements.

Data Governance and Quality

  • Set and uphold strong standards for data quality, governance, and reporting consistency.
  • Ensure People data remains accurate, complete, protected, and compliant across systems.
  • Run regular audits and validation exercises to maintain data integrity.

Process Improvement and Digital Transformation

  • Spot opportunities to simplify People processes through automation and better use of technology.
  • Lead initiatives that improve efficiency, employee experience, and operational performance.
  • Bring consistency to systems and reporting practices across countries.

Stakeholder Support and Capability Building

  • Serve as the regional go-to expert for People systems and analytics.
  • Train and support People and Culture teams and managers on system usage, reporting, and data handling.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal teams and external platform providers.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR systems, workforce analytics, or People technology, ideally in a regional or multi-country setting.
  • Hands-on experience administering or implementing HRIS, ATS, and similar HR technology tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to build dashboards and convert workforce data into actionable business insight.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency plus experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or equivalent; SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and information security.
  • Excellent ability in project management, stakeholder coordination, and communication.
