Role Overview

This is a day-shift manufacturing role based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Core Duties

• Keep equipment clean and lubricated, and help maintain a work area that is clear of debris and dirt. Put tools away or prepare them as needed.
• Operate machinery by carefully following instructions, and handle routine materials and tools for loading and unloading production equipment and assembly lines.
• Carry out routine care activities around the facility.
• Handle non-technical routine tasks on the plant floor.
• Perform basic quality inspections on finished goods.
• Escalate problems or concerns to a supervisor or a more senior team member.
• Work in accordance with all safety requirements.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is typically required.

Skills and Abilities

The role calls for basic verbal and written communication, the ability to listen carefully and follow instructions, and flexibility to work across different tasks or roles.

Compensation and Benefits

The posted pay range for this role is $16.36 to $27.87 annually. For new hires, the typical competitive wage is $16.67. The starting rate may vary based on market data and job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Where the competitive wage is identical in both fields, the same starting rate applies to all applicants. This starting rate does not indicate future pay increases. The role may also qualify for a short-term incentive.
