About the role
NEX Partners is an independent mergers and acquisitions advisory firm that works with entrepreneurs, founders, and investors on strategic transactions, acquisitions, and business combinations. The firm is developing a modern, entrepreneurial advisory model and is seeking an ambitious analyst who is eager to get hands-on experience with live M&A mandates, collaborate closely with experienced professionals, and contribute to the firm’s growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop financial models and valuation work, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables, and transaction comparables.
- Draft pitch materials, teasers, marketing documents, and confidential information memoranda.
- Carry out research on companies, industries, and market trends.
- Assist with due diligence and support transaction execution activities.
- Take part in client meetings, management presentations, and discussions with investors.
- Contribute to live domestic and cross-border M&A transactions from initial sourcing through to completion.
Requirements
- Strong academic track record from a reputable university or business school.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or another quantitative field.
- Excellent analytical ability and a structured approach to problem solving.
- Strong interest in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and entrepreneurship.
- High level of accuracy, professionalism, and personal accountability.
- Very good communication skills in both German and English.
