Role Overview
In this role, you will handle the setup, upkeep, and restoration of LED lighting equipment. The position focuses on keeping lighting systems operating efficiently by carrying out checks, diagnosing faults, and applying effective fixes. A solid understanding of electrical systems, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, service, and restore LED lighting systems and related parts.
- Carry out scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on LED equipment.
- Identify faults in LED systems and components and work through practical solutions.
- Use technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to guide your work.
- Follow all required safety standards and workplace procedures.
- Maintain clear and accurate logs of maintenance and repair work.
- Support the planning and arrangement of new LED lighting installations.
Requirements
- Completion of high school or an equivalent qualification; technical certification is an added advantage.
- Prior hands-on experience in LED technician work or a comparable position.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems and LED technology.
- Comfortable reading and understanding technical documents and schematics.
- Physically fit and able to work in different environments.
- Strong eye for detail and solid troubleshooting ability.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
