The Role

etrainu is seeking an energetic and motivated Junior Sales Development Representative to join its team in Brisbane City. This is a strong opportunity for someone at the beginning of a sales career who wants to learn quickly and build practical experience. In this position, you will help strengthen the sales pipeline by screening inbound leads and running focused outbound prospecting activities, with support from the Head of Sales - APAC. Your work will involve speaking with potential customers to understand their challenges, identify suitable opportunities, and prepare Account Executives for productive follow-up conversations.

You will be part of a lively, collaborative, and fast-moving environment. Performance in this role will be evaluated through the number of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) delivered against target and your overall contribution to sales team growth. The target markets are global.

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to inbound leads and target accounts, educate them, assess fit, and turn them into sales-ready opportunities.
  • Review marketing-generated leads and prospects, then move qualified contacts into Sales Accepted Leads for the sales team.
  • Partner with Sales Management to create focused prospect lists, shape call plans, and develop outreach messaging that supports new business generation.
  • Study accounts, identify relevant decision-makers or influencers, and build interest until opportunities are ready to progress.
  • Use cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to conduct outbound prospecting.
  • Use discovery conversations to understand business pain points and surface new business opportunities.
  • Build trust and maintain positive relationships with prospects over time.
  • Handle objections confidently and work through concerns raised by prospects.
  • Keep all prospect activity up to date in HubSpot so lead tracking stays accurate and efficient.
  • Meet qualified opportunity targets consistently to support revenue goals.
  • Share feedback from the market to help improve processes and strengthen the sales approach.
  • Keep learning the etrainu platform, sector developments, and competitor landscape in depth.
