Role overview
This position is designed for an early-career data professional who will help turn raw information into actionable business insight. The Junior Data Analyst will contribute to decision-making by gathering data, checking its quality, analyzing patterns, and preparing reports that support day-to-day operations and strategic work.
In this role, you will work with information coming from different sources and help make it usable for analysis. You will assist senior analysts and other teams by organizing datasets, running straightforward analyses, and ensuring the underlying data is accurate, consistent, and well documented.
What you will do
- Gather data from multiple sources, then clean, structure, and prepare it for analysis.
- Carry out basic analysis to surface trends, patterns, and operational insights.
- Check datasets for correctness, consistency, and completeness.
- Keep datasets and supporting documentation updated and organized.
- Help build reports, dashboards, and short summaries that clearly communicate findings.
- Handle routine analytical requests and support ad hoc data tasks.
- Work with analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting and data needs.
- Record methods used, assumptions made, and the sources behind the analysis.
- Assist with tracking performance metrics and standard operational reporting.
- Follow data governance practices and quality standards in all outputs.
