Role Overview
This Riyadh-based position is focused on driving the growth of Arla’s Spreadable category in Saudi Arabia. The role calls for a commercially minded marketer who can combine analysis, market understanding, and cross-functional teamwork to build strategies that improve performance in market.
What You Will Do
- Shape local category strategy for Puck Cheese Spreadable and future innovations across major channels and customer segments.
- Convert shopper, consumer, and customer insights into practical growth actions aimed at increasing penetration and market share.
- Own the annual category planning cycle together with Regional Marketing, Sales, and Finance.
- Support the launch and execution of new product developments in market.
- Work with Customer Growth and NRM teams to create strong commercial narratives, initiatives, and selling toolkits that improve in-store execution.
- Handle category P&L responsibilities with Finance, contributing to informed financial decisions and scenario planning.
- Coach and influence stakeholders across functions to strengthen category capability and embed best practices.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone with a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline. The ideal candidate has 4 to 5 years of FMCG experience, preferably in category development, marketing, or commercial roles, and has previously led category strategies while working across functions. Strong analytical thinking, a proactive mindset, and the ability to move comfortably between strategy and execution are important. You should also bring solid communication skills and the confidence to align and influence stakeholders at different levels. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are expected, while familiarity with Nielsen, shopper panels, or retail audit tools would be an advantage. Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
