Role purpose
The Housekeeping Manager will oversee housekeeping activities to ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and guest comfort throughout the property.
Core responsibilities
- Direct daily housekeeping activities for guest rooms and public areas to keep them consistently clean and well presented.
- Confirm that rooms are prepared and ready for guest arrival on time.
- Carry out inspections and quality checks to maintain service standards.
- Track and manage linen, guest amenities, and housekeeping inventory to avoid shortages.
- Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping team members.
- Uphold hygiene, health, and safety requirements across all housekeeping operations.

Requirements
Candidates should have a Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, along with solid experience in housekeeping operations, inventory oversight, and quality assurance. The role calls for someone who is detail-focused, well organized, and strongly service-oriented.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in housekeeping is required, including at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
