Housekeeper

About the Role

Vardhan Resorts is looking for a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable stay for guests at its property in the Jhunjhunu district. This is a full-time, on-site role that requires a dependable and professional approach to everyday housekeeping work.

The resort places a strong emphasis on neat surroundings, guest comfort, and consistent service quality. Team members are expected to work well together, follow standards carefully, and contribute to a welcoming environment across all guest-facing areas.

What You Will Do

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and other public spaces according to resort standards.
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and restock towels and guest amenities as needed.
• Keep cleaning supplies and materials organized and ready for use.
• Report repair needs, safety concerns, or other maintenance issues promptly.
• Take care of laundry-related tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and handling linens and guest clothing properly.
• Follow hygiene, health, and safety practices in all housekeeping work.
• Interact with guests and coworkers in a respectful and service-oriented manner.
• Support onboarding or training of new housekeeping staff when required, including cleaning methods and resort procedures.

What the Resort Is Looking For

• Good organizational ability and a strong eye for detail.
• Comfort with laundry responsibilities and correct handling of fabrics and linens.
• Clear and professional communication skills for guest and team interactions.
• Willingness to guide or support teammates in housekeeping routines is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in housekeeping, hospitality, hotels, or resorts is preferred, though a strong willingness to follow cleaning and safety procedures is important.
• Ability to handle physically active work, including standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
• Dependability, punctuality, and readiness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays when needed.
