Role summary
CompassRock International is hiring a Housekeeper for Alta Verde, a Build-to-Rent property in Blackrock, Dublin. The role is well suited to someone who wants to grow within the expanding BTR sector and contribute to a company that is actively increasing its presence in Ireland.
In this position, you will support the on-site team and help manage day-to-day activities across the Dublin portfolio, with a strong emphasis on providing residents with a high standard of service throughout the full tenancy journey.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment across shared spaces such as the gym, yoga studio, co-working area, resident lounge, terraces, office, reception, kitchen, and corridors.
- Handle cleaning for apartments between tenancies and before move-ins, as well as any additional reactive cleaning tasks that arise.
- Ensure bins and refuse areas are kept clean and well managed in coordination with the maintenance team.
- Follow risk assessments, safety data sheets, and all health and safety procedures while carrying out duties.
- Escalate damage, shortages, defects, and disturbances to the appropriate senior team members, and deal with resident queries or complaints in a calm and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to keep the building and apartments maintained to a consistently high standard.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will have experience working within a housekeeping team and will understand what is required to maintain excellent standards.
You should be self-driven, comfortable working with limited supervision, able to sustain strong performance levels, and willing to encourage others to do the same.
Because the role involves regular interaction with residents, a strong focus on customer service is essential.
High attention to detail is important both for your own work and when supporting the wider team.
You will also need solid prioritisation and time-management skills to complete tasks efficiently and to a high quality.
Good spoken and written English is required.
Experience in hotel or hospitality environments would be particularly suitable for this position.
Working pattern
This role follows a five-day working week that includes Saturdays and Sundays, with two days off on a rota basis.
The standard working week is 40 hours, also arranged by rota.
Shift coverage is during the day and may fall anywhere between 07:00 and 23:00.
Pay and benefits
The annual base salary is €32,000.
A discretionary bonus scheme is included.
Additional benefits include private health insurance, a pension scheme, a cycle to work scheme, and company sick pay.
Location
This is a client-facing, on-site role and must be based at the scheduled location. The primary base is Alta Verde in Blackrock, County Dublin, though occasional work at other locations may be required depending on business needs.
