Role overview
As a Fund Operations Analyst, you will support the operational backbone of the investment funds function, helping ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality delivery across reporting and process workflows.
You will partner with teams across the business to manage fund-related tasks, support reconciliations and reporting, and strengthen operations through better use of data, technology, and automation.
This position is based in PIMCO’s Ireland Branch (PGA Global Services LLC), 3rd Floor Harcourt Building, 57B Harcourt Street, Dublin, D02 F721.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with fund operations activities such as reporting, reconciliations, and validation of data
- Spot opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk, and increase efficiency
- Support the enhancement and automation of fund reporting through data and technology tools
- Work closely with internal partners including portfolio management, client servicing, and technology teams to ensure fund data is delivered accurately
- Research and close out operational issues, mismatches, and queries linked to fund processes
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, with at least a 2:1 from an accredited university
- Strong command of English
- Clear interest in financial markets, asset management, and fund operations
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organization
- Process-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proactive, analytical, and comfortable proposing practical solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, high-performance setting
- Accountable, adaptable, and able to juggle several priorities at once
- Advanced Excel capability
- Exposure to programming, or a willingness to learn; SQL and/or Python is preferred
- Background knowledge in fund structures, accounting, or capital markets coursework is an advantage

Working hours
The role requires 40 hours per week.
Compensation
Annual salary is €47,000.
