Role overview

The organization is hiring a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 to 3 years of experience in closing the books of accounts and preparing financial statements in line with IND AS. This position focuses on financial reporting, general ledger review, variance analysis, MIS preparation, audit support, and helping prepare board-level presentations. Hands-on experience with SAP and MS Office is required, along with strong analytical and communication abilities. Background in the retail industry will be considered an advantage. The right candidate should be accurate, dependable, and comfortable collaborating across teams in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including consolidated reports.
• Review the general ledger and produce monthly variance analysis comparing budgeted and actual figures for management.
• Compile monthly MIS reports for management and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors to ensure audits are completed on time.
• Support the creation of board presentations.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in closing books of accounts and preparing financial statements.
• Strong working knowledge of IND AS is mandatory.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as SAP.
• Comfort with numbers and a strong analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Retail industry experience is preferred.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant with solid articleship exposure.
