Equipment Technician

Role Overview

Broadcom is seeking an Equipment Technician to support the upkeep and reliability of facility systems at its Bukit Merah site in Singapore. The role centers on inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and coordination of support activities to keep equipment and infrastructure operating safely and efficiently.

Key Duties

• Carry out regular checks on equipment and site facilities to spot faults and arrange necessary repairs.
• Handle electrical and plumbing maintenance work as needed.
• Support servicing and repair tasks for HVAC and wastewater systems.
• Assist with hook-up activities for buildings and equipment when required.
• Make sure equipment and facilities continue to meet safety rules and required standards.
• Perform routine maintenance checks across different facility equipment.
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and daily activity reports.
• Support other teams with facility-related requirements.
• Monitor, purchase, and receive chemicals used for facility operations.
• Take water samples and coordinate their collection.
• Maintain facility spare parts inventory and track related orders.
• Work with waste collectors to manage waste disposal.
• Oversee vendors and contractors working in the assigned facility areas.
• Work on your own with minimal supervision.
• Take part in on-call duties when assigned.

Qualifications

• A diploma in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor factory facilities work.
