What You Will Do
- Assist engineering teams with testing, validation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems.
- Carry out assembly, calibration, inspection, and functional checks on prototypes and production equipment.
- Help identify problems in systems, hardware, and equipment, and support prompt corrective measures.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, technical specifications, and work instructions.
- Perform root cause investigations and record technical observations, test outcomes, and corrective actions.
- Work with engineers, quality staff, manufacturing, and project stakeholders to help meet project goals and timelines.
- Keep accurate technical records, reports, and configuration documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at improving efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Follow company standards, industry requirements, and safety procedures.
- Support equipment installation, upgrades, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Required Background
- A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- At least 2 years of experience in an engineering technician, manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or technical support role.
- Good knowledge of engineering fundamentals, testing methods, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Practical experience using lab equipment, test tools, and diagnostic instruments.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
