Delivery Driver

Role overview

GSF Car Parts is looking for a Delivery Driver to represent the brand on the road and at customer premises. In this position, you will be central to keeping deliveries on schedule, maintaining strong customer relationships, and gathering useful feedback from customers and the market. The role also supports the wider performance of the branch and the company by helping to deliver a dependable, customer-focused service.

Key duties

• Transport goods to customer locations within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
• Maintain consistently high standards of customer care during every drop-off.
• Share relevant customer and competitor observations with the branch team.
• Load the vehicle in line with internal procedures.
• Collect customer returns when needed.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance-related duties.
• Provide warehouse support whenever required.
• Support inter-branch transfer deliveries as needed.

Working pattern

The standard working pattern is an average of ## hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays included.

About you

To succeed in this role, you should be customer-oriented, reliable, able to work to deadlines, and confident in delivering a high level of service. You should also be motivated to go the extra mile and bring strong timekeeping and local-area knowledge to the role.

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Good knowledge of the 40-mile radius around the branch.
• Prior experience in a delivery driver position.
• A clear understanding of what excellent customer service looks like.
• The ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.
