Role overview

This position handles semi-routine operational work using established procedures. The role is centered on supporting the team through standard tasks within data center and facility operations.

Facility and infrastructure maintenance

• Carry out scheduled preventive checks on non-critical site equipment and facility components.
• Perform routine repairs, maintenance work, and installations for non-critical infrastructure elements.
• Watch the Building Monitoring System and react promptly to standard alarms following operating procedures.
• Support senior technicians with larger repairs and corrective maintenance activities.
• Operate plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems while working under supervision from senior technical staff.
• Follow established procedures for routine assignments and request direction only when dealing with new tasks.

Vendor coordination

• Work with vendors to make sure maintenance activities meet company expectations and requirements.
• Support the approval flow for service providers on routine maintenance work, including pre-work briefing, monitoring during the shift, and final review after completion.
• Confirm that vendor activities follow standard operating procedures.

Site administration and incident support

• Maintain semi-routine site records for permits, including Maintenance Operation Protocols and scripts.
• Use learned procedures to assist with on-site administrative tasks.

Work orders and special tasks

• Complete routine work requests and circuit installation tasks.
• Use established methods to troubleshoot and maintain office equipment when needed, and provide support for auxiliary machines and equipment.
• Assist senior staff in responding to on-site incidents and follow instructions during those events.

Team collaboration

• Work with others to address routine facility incidents.
• Support senior team members on infrastructure-related projects.
• Share inventory requirements with stakeholders so parts and equipment stock stays at the right level.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is typically required, along with proven equivalent work experience.
