The Business Intelligence Data Analysts within Regional Marketplace Operations are instrumental in driving key business decisions through in-depth data analysis and research, extending beyond simple performance monitoring and reporting. We are seeking a motivated and hands-on individual adept at tackling complex challenges and developing data-driven solutions to foster significant business improvements.

Job Description

This role involves collaborating closely with extensive datasets to develop data visualizations and dashboards that support strategic planning and informed business decisions. You will interpret functional and technical requirements to generate reports offering actionable insights to key stakeholders. A significant part of the role includes assisting the team in constructing and maintaining the data infrastructure, encompassing data pipelines, aggregated datasets, reports, and dashboards, to support the development of critical metrics for evaluating operational efficiency, impact, and outcomes. You will also work collaboratively with internal stakeholders from various cross-functional and product teams across multiple markets to build, test, and implement new processes and systems.

Requirements

Candidates should be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree, ideally in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science. Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential. Prior experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Hive SQL, or Spark, ETL tools, data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Looker, and statistical analysis techniques including hypothesis testing, regression, and data modeling is preferred. The ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative setting is also important. Full-time interns are preferred for a duration of 3 to 6 months.
