Amazon is seeking a driven Consultant, Analytics & Insights to join the team in Toronto. This position is part of the customer success function within Amazon Advertising and partners with sales, product, retail, and other internal stakeholders to review advertiser performance and support marketing goals. The role turns Amazon’s unique data into practical insights and recommendations that help improve campaign effectiveness and uncover new business opportunities.

What you will do

In this role, you will study performance metrics, identify patterns, and communicate clear recommendations that help advertisers and internal teams make better decisions. The work involves shaping strategy conversations, contributing analytical expertise, and improving how data is used across the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide insight-led support to some of the world’s largest advertisers and help move their businesses forward.
  • Act as a trusted analytical advisor by bringing relevant findings into strategy discussions and negotiation prep.
  • Build strong relationships with senior marketing leaders, including senior directors and C-level stakeholders, while becoming a go-to specialist in at least one advanced advertising analytics area.
  • Deepen expertise in Amazon’s proprietary measurement methods and continuously improve how advertiser data is analyzed and presented.
  • Influence decisions that make data easier to access and use for internal teams and external partners, including analysis of underused data sources.
  • Prepare written recommendations that help shape how partner teams such as Account Management, Sales, and Product work with Amazon Advertising.

The Analytics & Insights organization creates actionable takeaways from Amazon’s unique data to help advertisers make better marketing decisions and achieve stronger results with Amazon.

Basic qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in cloud architecture and solution implementation.
  • Working knowledge of core AWS services, including EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, and S3.
  • Hands-on experience deploying AWS services in distributed computing environments.
  • Familiarity with SQL or Python.
  • A master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience defining and creating benchmarks to evaluate GenAI model performance.

Preferred qualifications

  • 5 or more years of IT implementation experience.
  • A degree in advanced technology or an AWS Professional-level certification.
