Construction Management Program Director

Role overview

South College Online is hiring a full-time Construction Management Program Director and faculty member to lead and support its online construction management program. This is a remote position reporting to the Dean of Academics, Online.

Key responsibilities

• Create and roll out courses for the program area.
• Design retention-focused approaches, track student progress, and put supportive policies into practice.
• Review curricula to keep them aligned with South College standards and applicable accrediting requirements.
• Ensure courses are delivered consistently and uniformly across the program.
• Oversee course-delivery logistics, including master course shells, syllabi, and textbooks.
• Allocate courses to full-time and adjunct instructors in line with South College faculty workload principles.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, evaluation, retention, and overall effectiveness of full-time and adjunct faculty.
• Run professional development, in-service training, and faculty meetings for program faculty.
• Oversee online courses to ensure prompt faculty email responses, grading within 72 hours, and other standards needed for smooth online delivery.
• Build faculty capability to teach effectively in online learning environments and support South College’s strategic objectives.
