Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Raurkela, Odisha. The Community Mobilizer will work closely with students, educational institutions, and local stakeholders to increase awareness of HIREKARMA’s offerings and nurture an engaged community around them.

What You Will Do

• Plan and carry out outreach drives, awareness sessions, and local events that promote campus placement opportunities and skill development initiatives.
• Support students throughout the recruitment process and respond to basic questions in a helpful and timely manner.
• Collect feedback from the field to strengthen engagement and improve service delivery.
• Partner with internal teams by sharing on-ground insights and updates from students, institutes, and community members.
• Keep clear and accurate records of interactions, participation, and outreach activities.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at expanding and strengthening the community network.

Ideal Background

• Strong people skills and the ability to build trust and productive relationships with students, institutes, and partners.
• Experience or capability in community engagement, including hosting sessions, events, or awareness campaigns.
• Excellent spoken and written communication for engaging varied audiences and explaining programs clearly.
• A service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle queries, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
• Comfort working on-site in Raurkela and handling field-based activities in changing campus settings.
• Basic reporting and data-handling ability using common digital tools to track outreach and outcomes.
• Experience in community outreach, student coordination, training, or similar work will be an added advantage.
• An academic background in social work, education, management, or a related field is preferred, though strong relevant experience may also be considered.
