Role Overview

KHEONI is looking for a proactive Communications Specialist focused on business development and grant outreach for a clean beauty brand. The role centers on funding outreach, grant submissions, and identifying global distributors. Success in this position depends on strong written and spoken communication, clear strategic thinking, and the ability to create concise, persuasive emails and presentations that support business growth.

Funding and Grant Outreach

• Identify suitable grants, funding schemes, and investment possibilities through research.
• Prepare and file grant applications and funding proposals.
• Compose compelling outreach emails for investors, grant committees, and funding organizations.
• Track applications and follow-ups in a pipeline system.

Business Development

• Find and assess potential distributors and strategic partners in overseas markets using LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Run targeted outreach efforts to open partnership conversations.
• Build and nurture relationships with distributors and B2B partners.
• Assist with negotiation and onboarding activities.

Email and Communication Management

• Create sharp, high-impact emails customized for investors, grant panels, and distributors.
• Develop pitch decks and presentation materials for funding and business development meetings.
• Represent the brand professionally across written and spoken communication.

Research and Market Expansion

• Assess target markets to identify clean beauty distribution opportunities.
• Build country-specific distributor databases and outreach plans.
• Monitor outreach performance and report key KPIs.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated background in business development, grant writing, or funding outreach.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive emails.
• Hands-on experience with locating and approaching distributors through LinkedIn.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Well-organized with consistent follow-up discipline.
• Self-motivated and focused on results.

Preferred Background

• Experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, or nonprofit environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools used to improve outreach efficiency is an advantage.
• Comfort using presentation software such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva.
