Role Summary

This is a full-time on-site Cleaner position in Oxford. The successful candidate will keep assigned areas clean and hygienic, helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone using the building.

Key Duties

• Carry out routine cleaning across offices, washrooms, corridors, and shared spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty waste bins as part of daily cleaning routines.
• Wipe and sanitize surfaces, including frequently touched points.
• Restock consumables and other cleaning-related supplies where needed.
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and in line with procedures.
• Follow health and safety requirements at all times.
• Identify and report hygiene concerns or maintenance issues when spotted.
• Work to set schedules and quality standards to ensure consistent results.

Candidate Profile

• Some experience in cleaning, or a clear interest in professional cleaning work, is useful.
• Understanding of hygiene, safety, and correct chemical/equipment handling is important.
• Strong eye for detail and a steady focus on high standards.
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently, follow instructions, and work with limited supervision.
• Dependable, punctual, and physically able to handle standing, walking, and light lifting.
• Good people skills and a polite, customer-oriented approach in occupied areas.
• Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is helpful, though not required, as training will be provided.
